Grapevine, Texas, is the headquarters of the Texas wine industry and the perfect place to visit for a Texas wine-tasting experience. If you want to experience the best of Texas wine trails and Texas wine culture, plan a weekend trip to Grapevine.

Whether you are planning a trip with a group of friends or if it's just the two of you, Grapevine has plenty of places to stay. From world class resorts like the Gaylord Texan to destinations like Hotel Vin, and everything in between, any of our 20 hotels can accommodate you comfortably.

FRIDAY EVENING

Start your Texas wine trail excursion by stopping by Messina Hof Winery, located inside the replica Wallis Hotel. Along with great wine, guests enjoy the unique interior design and discussing the award-winning wines with the knowledgeable staff. The wine bar is open until 10 p.m., and its light bite menu gives recommendations for the perfect wine to marry with your meal. After your visit, head to the nearby Grape Vine Springs Winery to enjoy another glass.

And if you're feeling particularly adventuresome on a Friday night, sign up for the Night Watch Ghost Tour, a 90-minute haunted trek through Historic Downtown Grapevine. When the guide takes you back to Grape Vine Springs Winery, a free glass of wine will be waiting for you to ease your nerves from ghostly encounters.
